Frequently asked

What should I wear to aerial yoga?

Form-fitting clothing that covers the backs of your knees and underarms — the silk grips skin and pinches loose fabric. Think leggings or capri pants and a snug t-shirt or tank with sleeves. Avoid zippers, buttons, hooks, sequins, or anything sharp that can snag the hammock.

Is there a weight limit for aerial yoga?

Our hammocks and engineered anchors are rated well above 300 lbs per point with a wide safety margin. All bodies are welcome — if you have specific concerns, message us and we'll talk you through it.

Do I need to be flexible or strong to start?

No. Beginners are welcome in every class. Aerial yoga builds strength and flexibility gradually, and the hammock supports your weight so inversions are more accessible than you'd expect.

What should I bring?

A water bottle and yourself. We provide the hammock, mat, and props. Leave jewelry, watches, and long necklaces at home — they snag the silk.

Should I eat before class?

Eat a light meal at least 2 hours before class. Inversions on a full stomach are uncomfortable. Hydrate well throughout the day.

What if it's my first time?

Arrive 10 minutes early so we can fit your hammock height and walk you through the basics. Let your instructor know about any injuries, recent surgeries, pregnancy, high blood pressure, glaucoma, or vertigo before class starts.

Who shouldn't do aerial yoga?

If you're pregnant, recovering from surgery, or managing glaucoma, severe high blood pressure, heart conditions, or recent botox/fillers, please check with your doctor and let us know before booking.
